At Old Shanklin Guest House we pride ourselves on being small and friendly. Leave your shoes and your surname at the door and enjoy the comfort of the rooms, the lounge and the south facing garden!
And the food… With our breakfast award to prove it a lot of thought, care and attention has gone into the food – where we source it (locally where possible), how we prepare it and how we serve it. Full English of course plus an interesting daily special (see our website for details). If that’s not enough then there’s the Afternoon Bake.
Group bookings for friends, families and activity or event groups can be tailor made with dinners, if required. It’s also ideal for festivals.
Your hosts Gareth and Sarah are passionate about the Island and enjoy helping with walks, restaurants, days out and event suggestions. Shanklin Theatre is just a stone’s throw away and welcomes many different class acts throughout the year. The beautiful beach and coastal path is 5 minutes walk and there are countless thatched pubs and good eateries in the village.
