Arreton Manor is an early Jacobean Manor House steeped in history and dates back to as early as 872. Once owned by Edward the Confessor as noted in the Domesday Book and is specifically mentioned in the Will of King Alfred the Great in 885. Also, Queen Victoria often visited the Manor and is reputed to have planted a conifer on the south lawn.
The Manor is light and spacious with original features and is set in 5 acres of formal gardens. Offering only 2 luxurious guest bedrooms with en suite facilities situated in the East wing providing private first class accommodation. “The Adrintone Bedchamber” is accessed via its own landing to the North of the East Wing. It has a four poster bed and is furnished with antiques and rich fabrics of a Tudor style and has a separate private bathroom.
